I had to purchase the Daily Folio A5 after researching for covers to protect my new leather thinline Bible. It has been the perfect companion to contain everything I need for Bible study on the go. The only issue I have, which was advertised and previously reviewed, was the inability to contain my thinline Bible and the pen pad at the same time. Instead I just keep one pen and one highlighter so that I can close it easily. I do love the product and am looking forward to purchasing some of the journals as well!

Never been big on keeping a journal, but recent job changes have required me to keep better track of tasks. This beauty is helping. It's tough, well made, and compact enough to fit in my bag. I've gotten a few compliments. I use it for a meeting notes journal and my larger task journal. It feels good pulling the folio out of my bag at meetings to take notes while others are fumbling around with their laptops. Oh, and the pen organizer is a massive plus. I highly recommend the Daily Folio A5.

I share what seems to be the consensus among the people who bought this product in hopes of using it at a bible cover of any capacity. (I saw videos advertising it as such) And that is even with a thinner bible just over about an inch thick, if you plan on putting anything else in it you are probably out of luck. I had planned on using the included pen board to fill it with tools that I use in every day bible studies or just to take to service on Sunday. It's possible, in fact I did get it to zip with my bible and pen board in there, but it bends the cover of my bible and will damage it over time which defeats what I consider to be the whole point of a bible cover.
On the other hand, if you use it only for a journal it works pretty well. Granted with the pen board it still barely zips with a thin book and a hard cover A5 Leuchtturm1917 notebook. I am positive that I will use the product on a daily basis which is why it still retains the four star rating from me. (Almost entirely based on product quality alone) But I cannot help but state over and over how saddened I am that it isn't just thicker to accommodate one if it's main marketing points from what I have seen.

No. The Daily Folio A5 is sold separately so you can use your preferred A5 notebook, planner, Bible, or journal.
What size notebook fits?
It fits standard A5 notebooks and planners. Slim or softcover notebooks work best with the pen board installed.
Can it hold a hardcover A5 notebook?
Yes, depending on thickness. For thicker hardcover notebooks, you may need to remove the pen board or carry fewer pens.
How many pens can it hold?
The removable pen board holds up to 6 pens.
Can it hold a phone?
Yes. It includes velvet-lined interior pockets designed to fit most smartphones.
Can this be used as a Bible case?
Yes. It can fit many Bibles under 1 inch thick. For thicker Bibles, remove the pen board or check your Bible’s dimensions against the folio’s interior space.
What materials are used?
The exterior is waxed canvas — dense, weather-resistant, and softens with use. The interior is ripstop nylon with a honeycomb pattern. Phone and card slots are velvet-lined to protect your screen and cards from scratches.
Is it water-resistant?
Yes. The waxed canvas exterior and full zipper resist light moisture, dust, and everyday wear. It is not waterproof.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
