This was kind of an impulse purchase, but after a few weeks, it's in my everyday CARRIE. It's nice to get off digital and go and log. Really helps my thought process. The paper quality in these journals is really good. The Quality and Field of the folio is excellent. Love this.

If I was looking simply for a dust cover to protect a notebook, I believe the Daily Folio A5 would earn 5 stars, but in fairness, its usefulness as a Bible cover was one of the selling points that Lochby advertised from day one. That caught my attention, as I've been disappointed at the options we Bible readers are presented with when we shop for something to protect our most precious posession.
I see now that even Team Lochby is announcing that the folio makes a great Bible cover *if* you remove the pen board. Two problems with that:
First, I paid for a pen board. That should settle it. Simply discarding one of the major features of this rather spendy purchase is not an option I'm going to take lightly.
Secondly, and more personally, the pen board is actually one of the primary features that pursuaded me to buy the folio, as my system of highlighting and note-taking involves a variety of colored pencils. Prismacolor, in case you're wondering. (I highly recommend this method - there's no bleed-thru and the color options are many, as are the manners in which they can be used.)
I had hoped to break in the Daily Folio A5 with my Legacy Standard Bible. It's not huge. No dice. I have to remove the pen board to avoid stressing the zipper. So the ESV Thinline finds a new home. You won't find a thinner Bible, to my knowledge.

I purchased this after seeing a reel showing how it could be used to carry a bible. I went through a few bibles before I found one that worked. I would have liked the cord notebook holders to assist in organizing notebooks. Lochby prouducts are sold all around, I just would like things set up a bit differently, it doesn’t make it bad though. I use it daily for my studies.

No. The Daily Folio A5 is sold separately so you can use your preferred A5 notebook, planner, Bible, or journal.
What size notebook fits?
It fits standard A5 notebooks and planners. Slim or softcover notebooks work best with the pen board installed.
Can it hold a hardcover A5 notebook?
Yes, depending on thickness. For thicker hardcover notebooks, you may need to remove the pen board or carry fewer pens.
How many pens can it hold?

Is it water-resistant?
Yes. The waxed canvas exterior and full zipper resist light moisture, dust, and everyday wear. It is not waterproof.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not machine wash.
