Field Binder A6

The pages flip easily with no binding. The binder feels solid in the hand. The clasp is a pleasant alternative to a zipper, and I like the option of using the handle, though I don't use it much.

I might prefer to have the LOCHBY label on the back, or perhaps on the lower-right hand corner of the front, as its position in the upper-left corner strikes a chord of showiness. "Look at me," it says. "I am a designer binder."

I haven't used the pockets yet, so I can't speak to their utility, But I agree with other customers who say that a pocket on the back would be useful.

There's a ring for putting in a pen or pencil. The ring is too small for most of my fountain pens, but it works well for a 99-cent mechanical pencil, which has been my go-to writing implement for this binder.

I love this A6 field binder. The internal and external construction is top-notch. Stylish, durable, and sophisticated looking. There are plenty of internal pockets for stashing an extra pen, ruler, business/credit cards, and a max VLC utility blade holder or thumb drive.

I would have liked to have seen an external pocket, similar to the pocket journal or the mini-field journal, but I'm getting along well without. Note--the included inserts are longer than a true A6 page. I'm a gear hacker, so I made a template to make handy inserts for organization.
