Quattro V2

I was worried that the pockets on the Quatro might be tighter than I'd like for holding my fountain pens because the pockets on my Lochby Pocket notebook are uncomfortably tight for "plastic" pens. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the way my pens fit in the Quatro. There's enough slack that I'm able to comfortably have a 5th pen in the exterior front pocket, but not so much room that the interior pens rattle around. The 5 pens I keep in this pouch are a Pilot Custom Heritage 92, Pilot Vanishing Point, Leonardo Momento Zero, Visconti Mirage Mythos, and a vintage Esterbrook J.

I’ve used the Field Journal for several years now and always impressed with the design, materials and attention to details in the product line. I’m expanding my daily writing and wanted to carried a few different pens for those artistic moments. The Quattro is perfect! The off-center pen pockets allows the align for easy closure even when over stuffed with extras like a small flashlight.

I would love a special edition Black with Red Trim limited run. I would get the whole set!

I use my Quattro to keep my mini oil pastel crayons in. There’s also plenty of room for my mini flip book, and a small pencil and sharpener. It is in an adorable cushioned little pouch I take with me everywhere. The zipper works perfectly every single time and the overall appearance of it fits right in with all my rustic every day essential items. I have several other Lochby products and if I had to chose which is my favorite, I’d have a hard time deciding. The only thing Lochby is missing is a backpack to hold all my Lochby products in.

This case is wonderful! I have been eyeing it for months and finally bought it via an authorized reseller and I'm so pleased! It easily fits 4 pens as designed but I was able to fit a fifth pen as well by hooking the clip in the little notch to the right of one of the pen slots (see photos). It also easily fits a cliplesss pocket fountain pen in the outside slip pocket. The best thing about the case is how great it feels in the hand. The fabric is lovely and with all 4 (or 5) pens inserted it still feels slim and lightweight.

Amazing addition to my Lochby collection. I have the Field Journal, Tool Roll, and now the Quattro. This is the perfect size for quick day trips when I can't bring my tool roll. Construction of ALL their gear is top notch! Venture Pouch and Watch Wallet coming next. Plus, since I first discovered Lochby almost 2 years ago, I've been using their Tomoe River dot journals exclusively for all my writing.
